what muffler would bet the best

Post by Jeff P »

If you want something louder that still has a deep sound, go with a Borla.  If you want something with a medium noise level that has a nice deep sound, go with a Dynomax.  Those are the main two I have experience with and really like them both.  My GTZ with the Quad 4 had a Meanstreak muffler and sounded pretty mean with no "buzziness," nothing like any other Quad I've heard.  Its noise level was between the Borla and the Dynomax.  Maybe it would sound good with the 3100 also?  Assuming your '94 has the 3100, anyway.

Get the resonator removed, get a high flow cat, 2.25" or 2.5" piping, and a Borla Turbo muffler... sounds perfect.
