3400 SWAP

Post by timgerman »

I am about to swap my 3100 for a 3400 in my 1996 Z26. Is there anything I need to change? Is there anything important I need to know?

You should see the truck and offroad forums :burn:

At least once a day, someone will ask "whats the biggest tire I can fit at stock height" "How much can I crank my tbars before it gets dangerous" and "how to lift my truck for cheap".

It's many layers of stupid brewing within them.

That is why I have the PDF on my desk top. Other than the fact that I may need it someday.

It's better to ask before you start the work, which you did. Direct drop in is one thing...making it work is another.
Tim be sure to tap the 3400 lower intake for your stock coolant by-pass tube.
