wow man thats early i still got one bust butt day and a cleaning day before i can head down and ur settling in already cant wait to meet everyone outside of a computer screen myself also i am completly new to this whole enthusiest meet

Yeah keep the rain over you guys till about 10pm hows that sound? I have today to get through at work... 2:30 then Thompson Racing tonight for as long as the weather holds off. Then I need to pack tonight, load car, and bring Amy to work in the AM before I leave.

EEK... I still need to clean the interior of the car... I had my parents dog in it twice since Chicago, Damn fur everywhere.

I wanted to get the rear fold down seat in, but that's not going to happen... I guess that's my winter project, Start stripping Ole red of the stereo system and all the other good parts and then send the shell off on a wrecker to clean up my driveway.

Is it ok to bring my 7 month old son with me this weekend?

It's fine with us, as long as the child will be ok at the Dragway... Some people don't like bringing their young ones to the strip due to the noise, but if your ok with it then that's fine with us.

IIRC G9T2Z has a little one with him again this year... But she is maybe 1yr+ now since the last NE we went to she was pretty fresh... LOL

Just cleaned the outside of my car and changed my oil. Now I just need to clean the interior and put my front lip back on.

Im not coming guys. I have gone over to the dark side. I sold my camaro and bought something much newer, something with a 6 speed. My beretta sits neglected in asylum motorsports garage....

swapping the rear seats takes all of like 15 minutes Jon, I did it in the parking lot in Detraoit, had the old ones out before BMan had the new ones over to my car lol

We brought our daughter with us again this year. She is 14 months now but last year at NE she was only 3 months.
So far it's just us and the old man and Barb.

We got here about 5 after a bloody horrible drive and a funky wide band connection that hates water, and did we have water.

Rain so bad you litereally couldn't see the road at times.

Disconnected the WB, engine light is on and it's running like CRAP, stupid rich.

Hopefully I can get it dried out tomorrow or it's going to be a long weekend

Hotel is a little bit of a disappointment, but it's clean and the pool area is actually quite nice, however I don't know who wrote the damn reviews I read. But it's inexpensive and clean.

And a warning to everyone. This state has the most archaic liquor laws on the damn planet, so stock up in advance if you are so inclined. Took us an hour to find a place that sold beer at 9:30 last night

Thats not that odd for my area... 9:00 and Beer is closed up.... also no buy on sunday.

I'm getting cleaned up, car is ready and then I'm headed out at 7:30 or 8, should be about 5hr ride.

I kinda had a feeling that either Rodney OR Brennan would change their mind at the last min... Rodney seems to be the more elusive one. Sell me your Z if its just going to sit neglected.
