i have my whole house set up on my wireless connection. thats 3 devices that use the wi fi; an ipad, laptop, android tablet, and sometimes my phone, so 4 if you want to add that. the pc is going to be strictly for my wifes coupon hobby and family finances. it will be connected to the internet but obviously wireless is pointless. if i connect it with the ethernet cable straight to my wireless modem will that effect the other devices i use wirelessly. i would much rather leave well enough alone if the pc is going to cause problems.....

Nope, as long as there are ethernet ports in the back (ones for wired devices are typically in a group of 4 and/or yellow colored) you'll be fine.
