i'm not sure if it is a problem or not, but i took out the cluster in my 94 2.2L and replaced it with the one from the z26 with the tach and such and i was wondering if there is a reason why when my car redlines its at around 4k rpms, the tach says it should be around 6ish, did i do something wrong?

No help yet? Thought others would come here and post something. The only thing I can think of is that the voltage is not the same, as the Z-26 has a 3100V6. How to fix that, I'm not sure. Also I'm not sure you can change the crank pick up to the V6 one. It may be longer and could hit the crank and you don't want that. Check the parts store and see how long they are VS the 2.2 one.

You can't interchange a 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder cluster (aside from 96?).  The pulses per rev are not correct.
