1990 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ
1990 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ
I am selling a 1990 Chevy Beretta GTZ. The car has just over 200000 miles but the motor has 80 000. The car has quite a few newer parts over the past 50 000 miles including a clutch. It has been sitting for at least two years. It does run. If you are a serious buyer contact me for a lot more information. I would like $800. It is located in Atlanta TX. It does have an Illinois title. I just never registered it in Texas since it wouldn’t pass inspection due to the emergency brake needing replaced. I am also willing to part it out if no one wants it for $800. It has new tires in the rear but the front tires and battery need replaced before you could drive it.
Re: 1990 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ
Looks like a really good start for someone wanting a solid project or fun driver, GTZs are very hard to find in any condition for a decent price -that should sell well. It is too far away for me unfortunately, but that is even the year and color I've wanted.
Most serious buyers here will want undercarriage shots, rear spring perches are specifically a concern. Also the rocker-panels, underneath and in the door-frame under the hinges and at the lower rear corners too.
Paint looks good on that car, aside from the spot near the gas-door and the roof. Good luck with the sale! I hope it goes in one piece.

If you decide to part it out I want that hose on the top of the air filter box.
I'd pay with paypal for part and shipping.
I work long hours so weekends are when I can contact.

1990 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ part out
Since I don’t have any interest in buying the car I have decided to part it out. I hate to do it, but hopefully you all could continue to restore the one you have. I am getting married and need the extra money. There are a lot of good parts on the car. I have a driver seat I never installed in the car that beside from some dust. It looks like no one has ever sat in on it. The side effects, filler panel, and spoiler are in great shape along with the side mirrors, head lights, and tail lights. Let me know what you need and I can send pics. Just make a good honest offer. I will have to set up PayPal and work through the week. If I have interest I’ll be sure to make it a priority the best I can.

I’ll take the tail lights if the outer lenses are crack free. Also does the passenger side mirror have the cable that is used to adjust the position of the glass? If so I’m interested in that as well. Shipping would be to 28613. Would need pics of the tails.

Including the plastic sleeve that attaches it to the air box.
If there are any other parts on the other end where the air comes in, I'm interested in those as well.
If it is not removable from the filter box lid then I would buy the filter box with it.
How much for the above?
Also what would shipping be to 44233?
(I can pay with paypal).

I have a 90 GTZ and need the blinker/high beam components if working and you can get them off. Shipping would be to 34788.

Hey you all! Thanks for responding. I am currently unable to pull the parts and do everything that I need to do for at least a week. I do have someone trying to get the cash together for the car also.
Re: 1990 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ
I sincerely hope that car sells in one piece. BUT, if it does end up being parted, are you willing to pull the clutch-pedal assembly, shifter and cables? I am in no hurry, and again I hope they aren't available.

Re: 1990 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ
I am willing to even take payments from someone if they want it. I’d hate to part it out also. It is a solid car and ran strong before it was parked. It is still titled in Illinois but doesn’t look like an Illinois car. Only reason why I haven’t been driving it is because it wouldn’t pass inspection and never got the money or time to fix the emergency brake. It spent most of its life in Southern Indiana. A guy on this site bought it and replaced the head gasket and did some other stuff that was preventive for common problems to Berettas. Then posted it on this site then I bought it seven years ago or so. If your interested, let’s talk to see if we can work something out.
