89GT 95 Dash swap

Has anyone done this i have the new dash and everything for it i just need to no how to splice the windshield wiper switch and the headlight switch i only have one car so it cant be out of commission and i don't want to start cutting wire until im 100% sure that its the right one.

I am also doing the same swap and i was also wondering about the lights switch and the wiper switch an i was told you can just cut the wires back and solder them together i was wondering if that would work? Anyone??

well i do no that both clips don't have the same amount of wires i will be buying a Chilton book to see what wires do what for both years to splice the right ones.
