Weekend fun...

Post by 3X00-Modified »

Well I had Will and Lisa over this weekend... Had a fun time working on her car and also doing some stuff around the house...

Did her oil pump drive o-ring as well as the coolant bypass threaded insert, that was seeping a little... Just a note on the oil pump drive, you can not remove it unless you remove the bracket hold down for the fuel lines and move them around, the front hard line goes directly over where you need to pull up. Her O-ring was completely dead though... we also added on the SBC 350 gasket for a second barrier, and I think I may do that to mine, I just need to double check the gear mesh on my cam to the drive gear.

We just pulled the upper to also give better access to the coolant part.

All is well from what I've been told, and we also added another toy to my list...

A nice charcoal man grill!!!

And yes that is a bottle opener on the left front leg... F-YEAH!!! LMAO

Sweet grill, mang. I gotta get a decent one. The one Tiffwad bought last year leaves much to be desired.

I have my huge propane one to go along with it, but both me and amy wanted to have a charcoal grill... We were looking at the small round ones and I just pushed for this one due to quality and size and figured we could cook more with it and the results would be better. Chicken and shrimp came out great yesterday. :)

The food in general was great. :D

I'll grab a new air filter in the next week or so, and from now on I'll check for invaders more often lol... at least until I get around to screening it off.
