3400 swap guide?

I've gone to 3x00swap.com and for some reason none of the guides show up for me, I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the file they can share with me, I do have some mechanical experience when it comes to motor swaps, but a guide would make this so much easier for me when I go to do it. I know about the egr adapter, and that the 3400 needs to either be tapped out or a new plug needs to be installed, but like I said the guide would make this a whole world easier for me.

very easy you have to take out the engine and swap everything to the other engine. then you put the 3400 in the bay. its really esay since both blocks are the same part wise.

you can do it in a week-end

that is way easier than I expected it. I know the timing cover, fuel rail and injectors stay the same, but what about the exhaust manifolds, are they the same as well?

it would have sucked more if you had an earlier model. 87-92? need a custom mount.

I did a complete rebuild on my 3100 last year in about a week, and that was with my dad kicking me out of the garage constantly so he could work on his truck. I'm thinking it'll take a day or so, as long as nothing goes wrong. And thanks for the guide, it's going to make everything sooo much easier.

I was glued to the haynes manual when I did it, and that was over a year ago, and I'd rather be safe and have as much knowledge as I can to do it. Rather be safe than sorry. It's gonna be a fun project definitely though. I'll be posting pictures as I make progress on it in the cars thread, and I know if I run into any problems I can ask you guys.

You dont need to swap timing covers...you can just grind off the boss that's in the way of the serpentine setup. It's all very easy for a 3100 to 3400 swap. You don't even need to crack a fuel line or power steering. You can use your stock exhaust with the 3100 rear manifold, but using the 3400 rear manifold with a custom downpipe is highly recommended, because the power increase is substantial.

might as well go strait to headders since he will have to do a custom downpipe anywas.....
