Clutch Slips

  • Clutch plate worn
  • Clutch plate is oil soaked by leaking main seal
  • Clutch plate not seated. It may take 30 to 40 normal starts for a new one to seat.
  • Warped pressure plate or flywheel
  • Weak diaphragm spring
  • Clutch plate overheated. Allow to cool.
