1988-89 Spring Codes "L" Car
To find the spring codes for your car you first must
locate the Service Identification Label which is on
the spare tire cover in the trunk.
The first digit denotes spring location, I.E.
| 6 = LH Front |
8 = LH Rear |
| 7 = RH Front |
9 = RH Rear |
The second and third position denotes spring
load rate. (example below)
To read the tables just grab your codes and look
them up. The codes go from the highest load rates
on top (stiffest) to the lowest rates (softer) on the
bottom of each table.
