Adding a Tachometer Back

Tools Needed: Phillips Screwdriver, Rachet with 7/32 (I think..) tip and a 6" Extension.

1. Go to a junkyard and find a Beretta GT/GTZ that has the same engine size as yours AND has a instrument panel with similar mileage. You cannot change the mileage on an instrument panel!

2. Unscrew these 6 screws:

3. Pull the dash out-and-down, so it looks like this:

4. Unscrew the 4 bolts on the instrument panel itself. Two are on the top, the others are on the sides.

You should be able to now pull the instrument panel right out. There are no wires to disconnect! The panel has connections on the back that match connections in the back.

Do the same to your car and voila, you have a tach. The only part of the new instrument panel that will not work is the oil pressure gauge. In your old panel, you just had a light. With the new dash, it is a gauge, so the gauge will always be all the way up (light off) or all the way down (light on). The only way to get it to work is to grab the oil pressure sensor on the car.
