Re: 1996 Z26 engine Swap
Yes I do. That one is already 3400 swapped. For the 96 Z26 I'm looking to go simple, easy, low cost. I found a 2004 impala 3400 engine near me for $500 that has 64,000 miles on it.

1996 Z26 engine Swap
I have searched all over this board and not getting a clear answer fast enough, and I am a little impatient. Need to do a 3400 swap to my 96 Z26. What 3400 engines will work, work the best, and or the easiest? I know that the 99 Grand Am would be easy, how about the 2002 Oldsmobile Alero 3400? Any o...

Re: Cam Strut Bolt Size
KYB Upper mount, new control arms, KYB GR-2 struts, Canuck springs. I used the same for the 89. had alignment issues, but the camber bolts and it fixed the issue. Just wondering if I need to do the same for the 96. Just wondering if i need the 14mm or 16mm bolts.

Re: Cam Strut Bolt Size
Setup the upper mount properly? It only goes in one way. The Canucks are only about 1/2" to an inch lower. They are higher then the Sprints. Passenger side toe is off. Driver side camber is way off.

Re: Cam Strut Bolt Size
I put it all together and had it aligned. It wasnt perfect and they said that they couldnt get it perfect. Since then the suspension has settled and now it is really bad. I have to take it back in, and taking it to a different shop. My 89 has adjustable camber bolts that I had to get. Same front sus...

After upgrading the suspension on my 1996 Z26, i need to buy camber bolts. Now, I have some confusion. Do I need 14mm Cam bolts or 16mm Cam bolts? I have the stock knuckle with the KYB GR2 struts. Im thinking I need the 16mm but want to make sure. http://www.jegs.com/i/Specialty-Products/827/81280/1...

Does everyone want me to submit your order? (Those that said yes) or wait? I will wait to hear from everyone first before I do anything. Ok?
