Completely at a loss
Amazingly enough the beast is alive again!! I found the problem by shear accident. Was working on it in the evening and the lights went out while the car was running. Low and behold I was able to see a fireworks show coming from behind the engine. Wouldn't you know it was a bad plug wire. Fixed and ...

Completely at a loss
Well dove into the car and found a couple of things. The vacuum is holding steady at about 17 inches. But I did find that one of my coil packs had a crack in it and it looks like there is some rust in there. So hopefully that is the problem. Well here we go into round 4.

Completely at a loss
No codes, O2 sensor has not been changed. Would this actually cause the engine to go haywire this bad? I mean I literally went through a 1/4 tank of gas in a twenty mile stretch. The engine also does this wether it is warm or up to temperature. I have had this car for a total of about 6 months. I ha...

Thanks for the response. Well first off the steering wheel was real loose and every time you took a turn it sounded like the frontend was going to come apart. Well the guy I bought it off of said he had just redid the entire front end and it probably needs to wear in. Never heard of that. Well I dec...

Rusted Frame
Thanks for the info, Both door sills have holes in them which I am going to put new sheetmetal in and seal up. The outer body is in fantastic shape other than a couple of surface rust spots. We definately want to get this car looking good as there seems to be so few left around here. Thanks again fo...

Control Arm Bushings
Thanks for the help. The whole suspension is shot in this beast. The bushings are the only thing I had a question about. I love cars that haven't been maintained in 155,000.

Control Arm Bushings
I need to replace the control arm bushings on my 94 Z26. My Chilton's says that I have to have them done by a dealer. Is this true? If at all possible I would rather do it myself.

I noticed yesteday when i had the car up on stands that the frame rails that run underneath the doors are rotted out. The floor pans and everything else is in good shape. Any suggestions on how...
