1990 GTZ, totalled in So Cal

It looks like I lost old PM's, I think it was Suzuki Ghost Rider was interested. I'm still not sure exactly where this will end up. We're close to an agreeable number, and I may just tell them I want the car also at that settlement. Still have to see. I think it's close, but I never expected it take...

(Money pit Beretta @ Mar. 06 2009,22:09)QUOTEAn XLR? Guess that is one way to move on. Another Beretta will not be the same, but it kinda helps you remember the good times. You wouldn't believe how inexpensive they are used. I was looking at a Cobalt SS, picked up the XLR for only a few grand more....

Frustrations...

You could move to where it doesn't snow.  j/k
Sucks, I know sometimes when bad luck starts it like the forces align. Good luck fixing them all.

1990 GTZ, totalled in So Cal

Thanks guys. Yeah, I will always miss that Beretta, it was a great car, and I bought it at a very difficult point in my life - so it was more than just a car. (I won't go into the details) Plus, it never let me down, always started and ran great, and won his share of street races (not that I would e...

Okay, it appears we are close to agreement with the insurance company on settling. I've already replaced the car, and I will miss my Beretta dearly, but will probably move on. I'm not interested in parting it out one piece at a time, but would consider selling it as is, it actually runs & drives...

Hello

I'll let the insurance company know that yours would be a suitable replacement for my car if they would rather buy me a car than pay me off. It sounds very nice.

Just something to look at

That's a neat site. Unique styling, Quad 4 motor and features are some of the reasons I love my Beretta. It's funny how many people don't get my fascination with this car, it was just a really well put together car.

1990 GTZ, totalled in So Cal

Hey guys, I'm still here, come in and look around a bit, still enjoy this place. Anyhow, my case wont be settled anytime soon I guess, I just got notice they are taking me deposition in March. That's only 10 months after this jack hole rear ended me while I was stopped at a light. Anyhow, the car st...

Z-26 Exhaust Tips

My muffler shop was able to locate some tips that look pretty close to stock.

A lot of foam in the side bolster. Yeah, kind of a poor design, but I don't think GM ever expected these to become enthusiast cars with a 20 year following. I know every time I took mine to the dealer they were always surprised I liked it as much as I did.

Quad 4 in RWD application...

Thanks for remembering my car. Yeah, over 7 months and their insurance didn't want to pay what it is worth (not even low book). So it looks like it won't settle this year. I don't know if I'll keep the car or not, but I sure liked it and miss it. Plus I come on here and see some of the beautiful car...

Quad 4 in RWD application...

Yeah, I had a Vega wagon with a 383 stroker, great fun. I'd like another one, they are getting expensive for what they are. I just thought my Quad 4 would be a nice engine for something. But then I may get another Beretta. Not sure if I'd look for a nice clean one, or one that needs work and transpl...

Quad 4 in RWD application...

Hey guys, I'm just sitting hear reading about GM's all new coming motor, it's 180 HP, 2.4 liter motor. Sounds a lot like a Quad 4 to me. Since my Beretta got totaled I'm missing my Quad 4 motor. Anyhow, I was thinking of a conversion into a RWD car. Has anyone here done much of that? What trans woul...

Took First & Third at Local Car Show

Nice looking car, both actually. I miss my Beretta so much. I haven't settled up with insurance yet (I was stopped, rear ended and it's been 5 freakin' months - What is taking so long?). Anyhow, I come and look at the other Berettas and think of getting another, great seeing some of these are kept s...

Found the car

Eric, Thanks for the info. There are very few GTZ's selling with less than 100,000 miles, and your price is about what I'm trying to get, it seems reasonable. I'm not sure I'll get a licensed appraiser, I'm just using auto trader and getting the ads that seem comparable to my car. I may drop you a P...
