Wow, that does look like it's in excellent shape! Good luck getting it ready to go. If you have questions, we probably have answers.

Re: Camaro paint job...after almost 10 years
Found some wheels I really loved at a reasonable price. Rotary forged Kansei KNP 5-spokes in 18x9 and 18x10.5. I pulled the trigger to beat the tariffs, but they don't fit! https://youtu.be/Z6Y_9np78-M?si=nrEpcGq1Sz91Mrbt https://i.imgur.com/8IbtFzz.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/tpeVyBk.jpeg I went over ...

Re: The $500 beater Blazer Z69 offroader
Decided to harvest the 4.3/5spd/tcase from the street Blazer for the red ZR2. The condition of the ZR2s engine and tcase is unknown and I know mine are good. Also figured it was good practice to split the body properly first on the one that won't be a daily driver. The gambler I just cut everything ...

Re: The $500 beater Blazer Z69 offroader
Blazer drama: I retired the shitty one because it would only crank over about once every 20-30 key cycles and I didn't want to spend money on a starter for it when it was already on death row. After tearing it apart I noticed the NSS switch on the clutch pedal was really nasty (prob from driving thr...

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
I've had a kind of rough few months...mostly blazer problems. I'll make a post. But I'm finally making some forward progress on the Camaro, albeit slow with all the other things I have to do. Right now I'm somewhat paralyzed trying to make a wheel decision. Yes it's many months away from driving, bu...

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
It's out of storage and roaming the streets again. Kiddo is happy to be back in the "race car" and so am I. Still no defroster and the tires are easily overpowered in the cold morning, but the afternoons have been really nice and the winter beater Blazer just crap the bed, so....

I actually just made my own cue ball style 6spd knob, but that's for the Beretta. haha

Re: The Derretta, 1994 base with some attitude.
OEM clutches drive so smooth. I think that's a good choice on your part. Some aftermarket clutches can be grabby or chattery.

Re: Camaro paint job...after almost 10 years
I had to come up with my own hitch cause I found nothing available new for 78-81 and I've modified the rear bumper quite a bit anyway. So I used my time-tested process of making & refining a plastic mockup and then having my buddy at Empire Metal Works laser and bend it in steel. It came out rea...

Re: Camaro paint job...after almost 10 years
I'm at 21 years owning the car now, and 13 since I've driven it! How did I turn into one of those guys?

Re: Camaro paint job...after almost 10 years
Another year, another update! Lol. Of course I ended up neglecting it most of last year again...but I've been hitting it hard the last month and it feels good to be making actual progress. I've lined up a painter so I've gotta finish fab on the splitter project (that I've had in my head for 10 years...

Re: The $500 beater Blazer Z69 offroader
This forum is looking dead! So here's a Blazer update. I love my winter daily, even used it quite a bit this summer with no doors while making repairs/upgrades to the Beretta. I just bought a dead ZR2 to 5spd swap also. The Gambler is beyond bad...so it's getting torn down to donate 5spd stuff. I tr...

Re: Budget LS swap 6spd RWD Z26 project.
Confused a lot of people by spinning the rear wheels. Starting line guys were telling at me to back up when my rear slicks were already in the water box. haha. And the tech guy looking at the car with the hood open (and engine pointing rearward) asked if I had slicks - while looking at the front ti...
