My new kitty

I did ditch it. As to be expected, there was a tone difference. I think I like it better.

I got the Xtreme Flow Cat from the ups man today. Very high quality product in MHO. What should I do with the old glasspack, keep it or ditch it? If I keep it what should I put first?

Size of my stock gtz rims?

They are 16"x7", no if ands or buts about it. I've measure the GTZ rims at the body shop, I can see how you or your mechanic would get 7.5", but they're 7". Rims are measured in the spot were the tire is mounted.

Getting ideas together

doing a cat-back you dont have to replacethe cat if you dont want to, you could get a high flow cat to put in there, or run no cat. the difference between a cat-back and full exhaust is 3' of pipe and 45 degree bend and about 4 hp. dual exhaust is going to be much more to put in, 2 mufflers vs 1, tw...

Camber

Quote (3100SFI @ June 18 2002,8:09)The struts are factory. I had my lower control arm bushings replaced. They had also done an alignment the best they could and the mechanic said the camber was off. He wrote: "Struts need knock-outs removed to adjust camber." Does that mean anything to you...

I don't know if you have coolant lines or not, but its a good thing you got the one that didn't, because if you do have a coolant line, just bypass it by connecting the ends together. This way you will be drawing in cooler air. I don't know about torque specs for either, if in doubt tighten them snu...

Back pressure

backpressure is the devil, just dont go to large of a diameter of pipe and you will lose velocity in the exhaust gas and the cylinder wont empty as well

Intake tube length

the length of tube won't make a difference at all, the cooler air should make a nice gain when its all warmed up

length is only a matter when it comes to electircity, due to the resistance in the wire (ohms)
