Re: Well... its time to retire

I do love me a Subaru Legacy. That thing looks so hot and properly modified it looks even better. I would definitely take this over a WRX or STI. It just seems so much more adult-like. Great car dude.

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd

that's sweet. I've been wanting to do something similar with my center caps. How much would you charge to do something like this to mine? Or do you know a type of shop that would have the same capabilities? Thanks.

Re: Upgrade To 12

Even my stock N-Body replacement pads and rotors from AutoZone are worlds better than the same on the original brake setup (mind you, I was coming from the smaller 87-91 ones) Likewise. I'm on the 87-91 setup and those are terrible. Makes my 15's look big. Also, Heavywoody mentioned on his post tha...

Re: Upgrade To 12

what's the smallest diameter wheel you can use if you use stock n-body calipers and rotors instead? 15" for the stock N-body stuff and 16" for the f-body stuff. hehe ultra-sweet. I just wanted to know because if I ever do something like this, I want to keep some kind of 15" wheel on ...

Re: Bad Sound, like a diesel

Dang man thought that engine was going to go to 300K. Sorry to hear that it's gone. http://www.crateenginedepot.com/store/31-Ltr---191-CID---GM-ENGINE-1991-1994-New-12522927-P892C62.aspx By far not a cheap engine, but it's a GM reman. I thought so too. It makes me sad that it won't but the body its...

Re: Bad Sound, like a diesel

Barry is on to something here perhaps. If that is a California car with no rust it would certainly be a perfect candidate for a 3x00 swap. It is indeed a no rust California car, and I have plans for it. :D 1993 Engine Chevy Corsica (3.1L, VIN 'T')- 90,000 A 006102 $350.02 Coast Auto Supplies and Di...

Bad Sound, like a diesel

Hey guys. I'm having an issue with my 2.8. I had a big clanking/ticking sound coming from it about a week ago, and was told that it could be the hydraulic lifters went bad. So I replaced them and no change. Sound is still there. Here are some videos of the sound. The quality is horrible, yes, but yo...

Re: It's The Little Things That Count, My 1987 Beretta GT

Got the parts today and will be posting new pics of it once I get it installed. Yea, the cone I already have, and have had it for the longest time now, but haven't done aynthing with it. As far as the intake manifolds, I won't do anything else performance-wise to the engine. It's an old 2.8 that I j...
