Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
So are you positive the ICM bracket vibration was the culprit?

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
The drip from the fresh air vent is not from the vent, but from the black cowl cover. Water rolls from the windshield and clings under it via surface tension, rolls and drops into the CENTER of the fresh air vent. Putting fresh black dum-dum along the top edge of the black cowl cover where it touche...

Re: Neon Rear Disc Brake Upgrade.
I can't lock up the tires or engage the ABS on my car even when running 185mm wide tires unless it's snowing. WTF? Do stock brakes really lock up the wheels? Or are B-Fast's tires just super hard or something?

I can't lock up the brakes unless it's wet out on the base. Of course 225 tires probably contribute to that.

I'm going to put mine McGavin style. I have a spare gauge cover and I'm going to put gauges on each side of the bulge, like one above the headlight controls, one above the wiper controls.

Stripper doesn't work too well on powder coat as you found out.

Re: It all goes downhill at once!
My rear is really stiff. I love how the car handles when you push it to the limit. The rear moves over just enough when it breaks free and then settles down without any fuss. I'm going to hate going back to a Z51 bar on the DD when I put the addco on the orange car. Barry, how are those Fuzion's doi...

Re: It all goes downhill at once!
I plan to shift at 6 grand and will have the rev limiter set at like 6700 or so. I don't like things breaking. Should be fun enough. With the cam and all I should make power up to 6500 and beyond, but I figure 6 grand +/- a few RPM will be good enough. Hmm Powerslots and green stuffs that good for b...

Re: It all goes downhill at once!
Traction in 1st?!?!? AHAHHA that would be awesome. Even traction in 2nd would be great. Maybe I'll just settle for 7.5" wide 17" wheel and go with some sticky tires.. That size wheel is more available then 8". From reviews on tire rack one guy got good life with them. But then again h...

Cliff, did you put anything inside that or just threw it over the cables and called it a day?

Re: NEED PICS OF 5-Speed SHIFT CABLES!
The doorman ones fail mechanically I've heard very soon after installing. I wonder if they are failing cause they are cheap/thin or because of lack of heat tolerance. From the Fiero cable descriptions, heat is a big issue with them. I'm going to wrap the piss out of my cables especially when headers...

Re: NEED PICS OF 5-Speed SHIFT CABLES!
Is Rodney for sure going through with the auto swap? He would be best off getting a 65-e HD like nocutt has. It's possible to run it on OBD1 even with a trans controller from some truck (i forget details) or go OBDII and run the whole thing. Thing is it's so much weight up front. Nocutt I can see go...

Uhm.... Nocutt has a 4T65-E HD... Not a manual..
Rodney Dickman might have sold them to WCF..... IIRC Rodney's were a bit cheaper?

Re: January 2010 Project Begins (Raspberry)
A 282 wouldn't need an engine stand though... LOL only 70lbs. ;) And when do you need to take one apart unless you are putting in a quad 4 4th gear? hehe Jon, that looks like you could have it positioned like it is, and "drop" the parts down and they would stay in the right place perfectly...
