93 Beretta Running Bad
Unfortunately there isn't a company around here to test it. I put the old coil back in and replaced the ICM last night. My fingers and toes are crossed. I also noticed there was a connector unplugged on the trans but doubt that has anything to do with it. The job goes a lot easier when you take the ...

93 Beretta Timing Chain 175k
Ok here is the scoop, the timing chain is not a problem. In a previous post about my beretta running badly, one of the people that replied said that I should change the change at 175k. I think I will just leave it along based on the response here. p.s. It would be great if someone could help me on m...

The problem has returned after 3 weeks, bogging intermittentlyagain. Should I bite the bullet and change the ECM? Can't get it to act up long enough the find the coil that is not firing. Is there a chance that it reset for a while because I diconnected the negative battery connector while replacing...

I'll probably tackle that chain myself once I look over the manual. I think I'll wait until 200k though. I have to fix my dodge durango first which won't be fun either. Broken exhaust bolts, fun wow. I appreciate all the advice.

I thought about switching the coils around but for the amount of work to take the assembly out I thought the $60 was worth it. The company I bought it from was willing to take it back if the problem wasn't resolved. The wife took the car for a 400 k trip and everything seems to be okay. I'll get on ...

I kind of figured the control module would be the next thing to replace if a coil or the running bad problem continues. I haven't changed a timing chain in some time but I have a manual and I'm fairly mechanically enclined. How many $$ do you estimate. I'm going to driv e the car for a week and if ...

There isn't any room to go in from the top because of the AC line and the steel piece that goes across the top of the rad. Once the starter is out and the fan pushed aside it isn't too bad from the bottom minus all the debris that falls in your eyes. I already replaced the gas tank because it was le...

I changed the coil and replaced the broken wires under warrenty. They were the front wires so they are pretty easy to replace. It seems to run okay now but I'm not holding my breath at this time. Nice place to locate the coils, fun wow. Is there an easy way to take that apart? I took the starter out...

I finally got the problem to show up so I removed each spark plug wire to see if there was one that did not make a difference and sure enough the middle front plug has no spark. I changed the wire and still no spark. I removed the coil assembly and removed the coil that was not sparking and all the ...

I removed the plug wires to check them and the part that goes over the end of the spark plug separated from the wire. I assume this is bad? I also changed the fuel filter and drained the tank. Another piece of the puzzle is that I changed some of the gas lines a few months back with a combination of...
