Plastidip comes in a lot of colors and is basically a rubber coating. Ive used it to color a set of wires for my 89Buick LeSabre before.

On my 89 buick it was pretty easy to get it out but putting it back in was difficult for some reason. I've always wondered if removing the back glass may have been better.

I haven't had any problems with struts before, but i did have a spring on a strut break once. That was... interesting.
