How to...Transmission Mount
OK, so I have successfully swapped out the motor and torque strut mounts. Now I have to tackle the tranny mount. Will someone post a how to for this or a link to one. I would appreciate it. Thanks

Re: How to...Torque Strut Mount (lower motor mount)?
Thanks.
I wasn't sure if placing the engine weight on the oil pan was a good idea. So, if I also need to replace the upper mount, the oil pan is ok to hold the weight?
I replaced the upper less than 20K miles ago but I feel the car lift and pull to the left on acceleration.

Re: Cold start engine dies in reverse
No black smoke. No cheap gas.
Been a few thousand miles since fuel filter change, and no, it does not feel sluggish. I've driven it with a clogged fuel filter before. Kept wanting to die while driving. That's not the case as of now.

Cold start engine dies in reverse
My car has started bogging down when backing out of my parking spot in the morning. Right as I start to cut the wheel it dies. Starts right up afterwords and drives fine. Seems only to be doing this in the morning. What could be causing this? I did clean the IAC valve but it is still doing it.

Re: Rear brakes
do they stick when you first drive it? and especially after dampness/rain? I think some shoe and drum combinations just don't work... My ex-work truck had that issue, clears up after a block or 2 of driving. Actually, just the opposite. They're not so sticky at first, but seem to get a little worse...

The problem started before the brake job. It's just occurring more often now.

Re: Rear brakes
I don't see any brake fluid on the ground and appears that there's plenty of fluid in the reservoir.

Rear brakes
I've been having a problem with the rear brakes not immediately releasing when letting off the brake pedal. Is this most likely do to ballooning rear brake hoses? Any other possibilities?
Thanks

Re: Walker muffler
Depends on how much of a system this is. If it runs all the way to the manifold, then there is a difference in mounting locations up in the engine bay. Differences between the 92 and 93 should be negligible. If you go through the steps (Chevrolet>Beretta>Year>Engine), the last page is a diagram of ...

Walker muffler
If you look through Walker Exhausts catalog, it indicates that the 21123 muffler fits a 1993 2.2L. Any reason why it would not fit a 3.1L? The catalog also indicates that the 22605 muffler fits a 1992 3.1L. Any reason why it would not fit a 1993 3.1L? Which should I get? The reason I ask is because ...

Re: Starting problem
Problems solved. The starting problem (see post 1) was the ignition switch (http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/ ... zl6nZ9n859) and the second problem was the ICM. All is good now. Thanks for the input.
