Cylinder Select Error
Either i need better mechanics or i'm just the worst with cars. Okay, my 87 2.8 bluetta off and on misses. The only code i'm getting is cylinder select error (which doesn't help much). I swapped out the ignition mod (which my mechanic said it prob was) and it did nothing. I had tested the mod befo...

GT Grill and Sunroof Questions
Well, I picked up a GT grill, the one thats blacked out, no holes, do i need the whole air induction plastic pieces that go behind it if i put it on? Or will my car be able to still suck in air through my stock air filter locationwithout overheating? I almost think its too much work if i have to hav...

Gauge Cluster
My cluster is bad, mainly my cooling gauge and my rpm gauge. Anyone got one i could buy from them? From what i've been told, there are none for parts cars anywhere else in minnesota. There is one in our favorite junkyard, but its a manual and someone already destroyed the dash and broke all the need...

Neat Trick for learning idle
I just thought of this and thought i'd share it. When we had to change out the ignition module on our 2.8 (supposidly its supposed to be for only 3.1's but ours did it) and then you rev it up and it dies, it needs to learn idle. Here is how you do it. (shops cost money for this!!!) 1. turn car on un...

Coolant Temp
Update: Got the gauge to work. the sensor on the back of the head was bad. but then we had the issue of (according to the gauge) it supposidly overheating in about 5 minutes from a dead cold. Had a buddy come over with one of those fancy temp lazer thingys and well... i either got a bad ground or my...

Coolant Temp
Heres the thing, we JUST got done with my engine swap!!! HORRAY!!! Now... to get insurance on it and drive it... anyways. So, idling in the driveway, i can't get the coolant temp gauge to even twitch. The switch was new, from the other engine though. (bought it for the other engine, but never solved...

BERETTA IN DUMPSTER
Before this event, i was total pro-beretta, but for some reason, this didn't throw me off. Usually i'd get mad but this one was already in the junkyard. I don't have up close pictures but there is writing all over it in yellow paint. I wanted to jump in there for parts though! But the hood was so bu...

Paint Scheme
Hey everyone. So when i'm done with this car, i need help picking out a good design for the paint. I want to keep the blue theme cause the interior is all dark navy blue. (even the dash mat ^_^) But this is the "custom" paint job on it now. The light blue on top, and the added dark blue on...

BERETTA IN DUMPSTER
So we heard something about a car being in a dumpster on our local 93X radio station. Didn't think much other than that would be cool to see. Well, as we were driving down the highway, BY OUR HOUSE, WE saw it! It was true! I almost died when we came up to it too. Its a 90's beretta with custom?? pin...
