That car has a completely custom subframe. Being the northstars mount to it instead of the body. And for the getrag question, all 5 speed trannys from a v6 or quad 4 in the berettas were getrags, and will bolt up to 3.4 or the northstar

im sick of people saying these things cant be done! if you have the time, money, and tools go for it! worst that could happen is it wont work. if you can fit a northstar in a 3rd gen j body, anything can fit. haha

claybar is 100% worth it. not to mention it lasts years if you use it correctly, so the actual cost is very little for the amount of use you get out of it

Correct. I replaced the headgasket onmine shortly after i bought it, and havent had any problems since. I also ran a 50 shot of nitrous for about a year and a half and the motor held up fine. I love quads, and stock for stock, quad berettas > v6

a good body guy understands that there is more to a convertable than cutting the roof off.. and fiberglass isnt going to fix the flex that car will have. when parked halfway in a slanted driveway and half on level ground, they couldnt open the doors. thats including the extra "braces" c&am...
