Re: Functioning ram air??
I dropped a 3800 sc into a fiero. But they make kits for them. My step dad keeps saying to just 3800 swap the car. I haven't been around these mechanically to know all the ins and outs of the swap. Newer stuff..sure..the older cars..not as much. They just before my mechanical times. We have the same...

Re: Functioning ram air??
I'm just jealous of that engine swap. These engines aren't easily found anymore. I've tossed out the LS swap idea. Can't bring myself to do it. Want something more tame. Maybe a little 3400 swap. I'd like to drop a 3800 swap..but..again..finding all the parts. And then tuning and getting stock trans...

Re: Functioning ram air??
It's something I've wanted to do for a while. Just got lazy and life got in the way. There are plans for this car. All the little details are for a reason. I'm currently trying to find a red color that I like, I can't repaint it factory red. I might spend some time in the mixing room to create me ow...

Functioning ram air??
Well..I was left alone in the shop today...decided to get a start on the beretta build. After a 6 pack and staring at the trans am..my brain decided to go "let's make a ram air duct" and I grabbed a welder, a cutting off wheel and proceeded to cut a hole in thr fender. It's a hard start of...

Eibach makes a set. They are the only ones I know of that still are in circulation for these cars.

Re: Budget LS swap 5spd RWD Z26 project.
Nice. I'm going mostly for the convenience factor with the swap. Holley has everything needed without splicing wires or anything along those lines. Only keeping the wires needed for the headlights and such.

Re: Budget LS swap 5spd RWD Z26 project.
What engine software are you running?
I'm looking to ls4 swap my old beretta and leaving it fwd. I was going to pull everything off and run the holley terminator max stand alone system.

Re: Mine still has these...
Where are you located? Shipping would be ridiculous. I might snag that rear axle to cut the hub ears off and fab my own for different rear brakes.

Re: 5.3 swap????
I've searched for 3.8 sc and they are going for the same as the ls4. And since it fits under the hood and between the towers of a GP.. no reason it won't fit in the beretta. They've been dropped into Saturn's and cavaliers, so..it should fit. And..the 5.3 has more availability for harnesses and tuni...

Mine still has these...
So..I finally had time to get back into the garage and mess with my ol girl. I haven't really looked at the options mine had until today. Anyone else still have the factory original spare, jack, and lug wrench? Or..how about the factory wheel lock key? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220306/402f2...

Re: Different steering wheel
Yeah mine is the factory air bag wheel. Bike stock for now. But I will not be keeping a stock wheel. Nor a factory replacement. It's getting a carbon wheel and quick release.

Different steering wheel
Anyone change their steering where with and short hub or adapter foe a quick release? I want a different style wheel. The current factory one is nice and all..but I want to retire it. Who used what to swap their stuff out. Online searches only show for camaro and corvette. Sent from my SM-N975U usin...
