A true tranny flush at a shop uses the tranny cooler lines the old fluid is pumped out by the tranny pump and the new fluid is sucked in it gets 100% of the fluid replaced its not recommended for cars over 100,000 miles i use to work for a shop that did flushes and we did tons of cars with out a pro...

I know that you got the ring problem figured out but i had the same problem and i found out that gm went to a different piston in the Chevy Equinox 3400 that is a 3.0 oil ring i ordered a set for a 2006 equinox and they worked fine. 2006 CHEVROLET EQUINOX 3.4L V6 : Engine : Piston Ring DNJ ENGINE CO...
