Re: code 42
Well, My codes 42 is back again, I just got three GM service manuals so I'm gonna try to diagnose the next problem down the line, the crank sensor was out of spec though. Also my tach quit working momentarily so I have to check the tach wire on the ICM. I'm pretty sure my fuel filter is getting wors...

possible TCC problem
Does anyone know what rpm they are at during a 55 mph cruise? I'm at like 2500 when I'm cruising 55 mph, I want to get good gas mileage. I think I can hear my tcc kick in, but the rpms seem kinda high compared to what I'm used to. I know the touch your brake thing at speed, but I don't seem to see a...

parking/emergency brake
My e brake is stuck solid, anyone have this problem or know where the most likely point that this occurs at. It works at the wheels, when I pull the cable closest to the axle. Its not that I can't really figure it out, but before I go ripping my car apart I just wanted to know if there is a certain ...

Re: code 42
Update after letting it idle for about five minutes straight without touching the pedal at all, it started working. Also it seems to shift and accelerate smoother and no hesitation like before, I think all is good now.

Re: Why is my rear ride height so high?
Ya, I got 195/65/R15's on it right now. Those might have been the R14s but I'm not sure. I'll post a pic where I got it now, I gotta do some tweeking on those clamps though. FE1 suspension though, it seems like if I look at autozone or advance, they only have one front and rear spring for the cars, ...

Re: code 42
Well, I just tried to change my fuel filter, and I ran into a problem. The fitting was pretty rusty and I couldn't get it loose without risking breaking the fuel lines from the sending unit. It is so rusty just a little tweek of it the right way and it will snap, costing me 200$ or more. I'm gonna e...

Why is my rear ride height so high?
So my ride height in the rear of my 88 beretta is super high, like i can crawl under it without a jack no problem and i weigh like 250 pounds. It looks funny from far away mostly. I tried using lowering clamps on my spring but it is hard to get them right, they make sounds and make my suspension beh...

Re: Stuff! More stuff found.
Yea I don't know if I'm going to make it to bfest, but I will try. How do I contact mike, I searched him and it says he hasn't posted since 2008, maybe he changed his username or something. I'm new here, so I don't know who he is.
