Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
Have you messed around with any other tuners? Im just having problems adding tables and such. Tiny Tuner helps in some areas. I mainly want to be able to delete and add certain tables. Ill get there once I get some good data coming in. 13s are what I am shooting for actually.

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
Just thought I should post an update. I got most of my parts on. Still need to add on the rear sway bar. I put in a AEM Wideband, but after looking at my exhaust I realized a new one was need. I'm currently work on that. I did look into buying a MegaSquirt, but I don't have the funds for that. I wil...

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
I don't think it will be to tough to make something work. Ill order something and see how it looks and show ya guys. As for the carpet. Money, you know I have been working on this project for 10 years now lol. I don't know where I got it, but it was not formed and I will never attempt that again.

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
The rubber coating I used was a spray style and feels like rubber. The heat/sound barrier stuff was from Eastwood. With the amount of weight added can't be too much since the new carpet came with the sound barrier, just wasn't what I wanted. I have read a lot of this stuff and seems to work. 0.75LB ...

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
I had to remove the dash and recheck all of my newly installed wire and alarm controller. After a few days of bench testing things, I found out the alarm brain was bad. Company gave me a new one. Dash is back in and I sprayed the floor with a sound barrier. Also rear brakes were not working. Crack t...

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
Well I have been working on the car a little bit. I put my tuning stuff away and started putting the car together so I can drive it. I put insulation in the roof and side panels. I will get a picture of that. I got the front of the car together somewhat. I need some fog lights. I found the left side...

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
From what I have read so far, the car needs to able to drive for those scans to be done correctly. So I have some work to do before I get to involved in that. I guess it makes sense that you would have to give the tables a different value because you changed something.

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
I'm pretty sure my IFR is correct but ill double check. Well sounds like I need to start reading the tuning information. Meanwhile I am going to finish the interior now and prep for paint.
Thanks 3x00.

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
Well tonight I went over to the garage. It didn't start the first try but the second time it did. I did some logs on it because it was having a rough idle. After awhile I started the car again and it fired and stayed running. I check my fuel pressure and prime is around 60Psi. Car running its around...

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
The return line from the old pump sits on the bottom so I installed a filter on the end of it with a 90 degree. Removed everything else I didn't need. So the return became the pickup and the pickup became the return.
Kind of like this:

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
Well I installed the new pump. Pressures came up to 40 Psi prime. Still had starting problems, but would run better. After a few starts I smelled fuel, and saw a fuel leak coming from one of the injectors. One of the retainers were missing. Pulled the 3100 injectors off and installed my 3400 injecto...

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII 5-Speed
I asked a few hot rod guys and a few friends who run some supras. That is what they recommend. They have had great luck with them. They did mention it was more than I'll need but it will leave room for upgrades later if wanted. The engine is stock but at this point I just want it to drive. Then late...
