quad help
1994 Grand Am 2.3 sohc quad LO. The head gasket was replaced and the car is running hotter than usual. Any ideas as to what it could be? My information on this car is very limited. It was given to my gf after sitting for 3-4 years. It ran hot until they parked it.

no oil pressure no start
3.1 3 speed 1990 Today while making a junkyard ru n, the indy was running good. We got out of the yard and started it up and it ran around 400 to 600 rpm very rough. There was no oil pressure. When the car was restarted itt ran for about 3 seconds before it shut off again. I was leaning towards a oi...

Electric Issues
First off 1989 2.8 3 speed. For the past couple of days my car has been acting weird. When I turn on the left signal it either flashes really fast or stays on. The right signal blinks very slow. Also when I hit my brakes, my gauge lights come on. when I let off, they turn off. Any ideas?

Re: Shift Cable Interchangability?
If you gave me a part number or length of them I could tell you for sure. But I'd say a 89-90 would be good! X2. So long as it is the same era Z-24, and the V-6, the only real difference should be the VSS... Any of those Z-24s have the digital instrument cluster? I'm still looking for one (or two)....

Shift Cable Interchangability?
I was looking through the local junkyards and the only 5 speed v6 cars are z24 cavaliers. Would the shift cables from one of those cars work on mine? The z24s were mostly pre 91s. I know that from the windshield up the cars are basically the same.

This is out of the Motor Domestic Transmission Manual 4th Ed. It is the professional service trade edition that covers auto and manual transmissions for 1988 to 1992 vehicles

Finally something to contribute.
Just a sample for now. I will try and upload the rest later when I can find my camera. Im also going to try and convert into pdfs so they can be saved as one file. The 3T40 and 4T60-e are also in this manual. Its the early 4t60-e though. Im not sure if they change throughout the years but is still m...

This site also has good info. I believe the L body and J body are the same from the windshield forward. At least in the engine bay should be.

I would like to know how I can strengthen it to be able to handle over 350 hp. I wont be putting those numbers down just yet, I just want it to be able...

Probably should update. I took apart and cleaned all of my vacuum lines with deep creep and she runs a whole lot better now
