1994 Base (Dark Purple) For Sale ... reduced to $300

Well, over the years my priorities and financial situation has changed a lot and the time has come to sell the old Beretta. It's a 94 Base with the 3100/4t60e with 114,000 miles on it. It is NOT in running condition right now, (engine was good when I parked it, but the trans was slipping badly) but ...

Is anyone still here?

Wow, it has been almost a year again... guess I don't get on the site quite as much as I used to.   I just have too many projects and not enough money, so the Beretta has been on the back burner for the last several years.  One of these years I'll get around to it, and then I'll be on more.   For no...

Sell it or use as trade in?

Definetly sell it yourself; you'd be lucky if a dealership gave you $500 for it.

First chop job

The Sportsters got fuel injection in '07, but I'm honestly not a fan of fuel injection in general.  Everything I have is carburated... way less stuff to break, even if it does require a bit of tuning now and then. I haven't gotten any more picture of it since I finished.  I'll post more when I take ...

First chop job

Really?  Around here it seems everyone tries to sell them for outragous prices... usually as much or more than the damn things cost new.   If I do get a used one I want a 2004+ because of the rubber mounted engine and 5 speed trans. I'm going to test ride several bikes before I buy anything next tim...

I actually don't have much for rear angle shots, these are the best two I could find.

Rediculous Gas Price Jump

Hell yeah... it's quadrupled in the last 10 years.  I started driving in 1998 and for the first few months I had my license gas was 79.9 cents per gallon, then it went up to like 85.  I think I was a senior in high school when it broke a dollar.

Rediculous Gas Price Jump

We're going between about 3.95 and 4.05 here, it just depends on the day.  Just wish the weather would stop being so shitty so I could ride the bike to work more... 70mpg > car.

I'm Back!

Wb Tweekster, it's been a long time.

I must agree, the site is pretty dead.  I just hop on once or twice a month to check up and see if anything interesting has happened. There's usually a little flurry of activity around BFest, but not much else these days.

Well, I must say I'm fairly impressed with myself right now.  I just bobbed my 1991 Honda VLX over the weekend and I think it turned out pretty friggin' sweet.  Cut 21 inches off the rear end, and lost over 30 pounds of junk.   I started Friday evening and just finished up around 730 this evening.  ...
