Re: Shift Knob/ Shifter info?
The four-speed Fiero shifter arm is the same as the much rarer five-speed option. My '86 GT is waiting (and will have to keep waiting) for a five-speed swap (parts I have, time I do not, and the car is not with me right now anyway), but I only have a four-speed shifter for it. I can't get a picture...

Re: 91+ Dash swap with 88 digi cluster (update)**mounted**
by chance do you have any of the 90 GTZ wiring diagrams?? or would these work for that application? The wiring for the GTZ fogs runs on the totally opposite side of the car - down the passenger pillar and through the firewall on the passenger side only to cross back to the driver side in the engine...

Re: Shift Knob/ Shifter info?
Fiero shift arms will in fact work without any problems. Geoff (90HOGTZ) was using the Fiero arm and it is threaded on top for nearly whatever threaded knob your heart desires. IIRC, the arm is help on by a snap clip and slides off the assembly.

Re: head gasket - difficult or easy?
Definitely get new head bolts. They are torque-to-yield. I have done this job quite a few times and your biggest PITA will be the exhaust heat shields. Leave those until you absolutely have to take them off - getting the other stuff off first will make getting at them much easier. Every nut/bolt is ...

Re: Need some parts for a 88 Beretta (Shipped to Lima, Peru)
There is an 87/88 base in the yard near my work. I can get the turn signal parts for you...i would just need to know specifically the part you need. Do you just need the lever??? (It attaches to the switch under the column covers.) Or do you need the switch as well???

Re: PROM Chip differences?
WOT-Tech does custom chips. Find them on 60degreev6. They run about $100 and he is willing to change the tune anytime for nothing IIRC. I am running one and love it!!!

Re: Arc from plug/boot on cylinder #5
Swap the wire with the #3 cylinder and see if the arc moves to that cylinder's spark plug. If it moves, bad wire. If not, bad plug.

Re: 5-speed swap stuff, shifter, pedal assy, etc
I have what you are looking for and have had it for years. It will be some time before i can do my swap and still run into 5-speeds from time to time in the yards. PM me and we can work something out.
Re: Pabst
I think you can only get like 3% abv in Utah if I remember correctly... Talk about water. Most stuff in my state is 5% I believe. 4% if it is bought in the grocery stores, otherwise we can get the higher alcohol content at state liquor stores. And that selection is limited. My beer of choice is Can...
