Re: The Z26 you all wanted to see
One very concerning thing that has happened twice is I will take my foot off the gas, but the car stays at 1500 or so RPM and it keeps accelerating, even when breaking. Thankfully it has happened in places where it wasnt a life or death situation, but it is still definetly scary. I think my throttle...

Re: RE: Re: Replaced heater core, now no heat
Make sure there is no air in the cooling system -that is your most likely problem. Other than that, a kink in a hose, something left clogging the heater-core... Air is the first think I want to check. When I went to bleed it last night, air came out but no coolant did. I don't think the hose would ...

Re: RE: Re: The Z26 you all wanted to see
That looks great! I really like how the red bow-tie is set off by your interior color. Does it squeak? Same! And well kinda. It didnt seem to want to install all the way, so the lip on the back doesnt even go over the gray part of the colum. So sometimes when I turn it, it rubs Only issue is...

Replaced heater core, now no heat
I just went through the painful process of a heater core replacement, and now I dont have heat.
Car comes up to temp just fine, but no heat out. When I set it to HTR, i feel a slightly warm air coming out, but thats about it.
Any help would be great!

Re: Just put in new fuel injectors
Even small Vaccum leaks can throw off idle. Try plugging the line to see if that causes any improvement.

Re: The Z26 you all wanted to see
Wheel looks great! Also got the mirror installed, but I need to figure out how to make it switched accessory power, not on all the time. Now, the heater core, dont even get me started. It was one of the biggest pains ever to get it done, and when it was done, it doesnt even have heat. I need to figu...

Re: RE: Re: Beretta overhead console
Some older cars, like the late '80s to '91 Grand Ams also used the same console. Be aware, there were versions both with and without the fog-light switch that was found in cars like the '90 GTZ and some G/A's... Adding Grand Ams to your search also invites colors (I can at least confirm a different...

Beretta overhead console
I'm looking for an overhead console from an older beretta. I also need the wiring and brackets for it. Anyone have one for sale?

Re: The Z26 you all wanted to see
Wheel came today. The harmonic puller I have it too big, so I have to go get one, but I am excited. Now, can any one tell me how they hooked the horn up? I have an idea but want to see if there is a best way https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191011/a455396d59ecc0d079261f4cd4a700a1.jpg Sent from my ...

Re: The Z26 you all wanted to see

Heater core also came today. Planning on replacing that monday. So that will be fun Still need to figure out the rough idle. And...

Re: RE: Re: The Z26 you all wanted to see
Exactly the same squeak -I never had that with the original wheel though -odd that you do. :unknown: And yes, without the Airbag, it certainly WILL throw a Code -the SIR or Airbag light will be on constantly until you pull the bulb, or yank the fuses... On my '95s, the DERM (Module) for the Airbag ...

Re: RE: Re: 3400 swap in 96 z26
I had a pretty good write-up with pics back on the old bstuff site showing the 3400 intake I put on my 'old' Z's 3100. I also used a 3/4" NPT thread tap, and a brass hose-barb for simplicity -I haven't touched it since, now approaching ten years ago. I replaced the quick-leak, err, I mean, qui...
