I just went through the painful process of a heater core replacement, and now I dont have heat.

Car comes up to temp just fine, but no heat out. When I set it to HTR, i feel a slightly warm air coming out, but thats about it.

Even small Vaccum leaks can throw off idle. Try plugging the line to see if that causes any improvement.

Turns out exhaust rattle was because my dad ripped the hanger when trying to get the exhaust back on. No big deal. Ordered a new one. New wheel and mirror coming tomorrow!
