Help with 76 New Yorker
I know, I know. This forum is for Beretta people. BUT, there are some real car guys here and I'd like to ask for help with my 1976 Chrysler New Yorker. It seems there are a lot of places to get "B" body Mopar parts and almost NONE for my "C" body Formal 2dr. Especially of interes...

Thank you to Rettax3 for the help with my digital dash.

Re: rear spoiler
Just a side note …… these spoilers are a real pain to remove if they've been on a car that's mostly southern high heat cycle environment. The studs bust loose from the mounting and just spin unless they break the plastic altogether. Also the older the spoiler the better chance it has become fragile ...

Re: Digital dash
No problem, I've been in contact with the seller and we couldn't reach an agreement. Nicjensen go for it! Let's all keep these old B's on the road!

Digital dash
Looking for replacement internal plates for the digital dash in my 1990 Indy. I've changed the bulbs and changed the display color, but, the speedometer segment is faulty and displays poorly. There is a polarized film on the LCD plate that has de-laminated causing the LCD to be unreadable. Is there ...

Re: Digital dash issue
There is only one (1) main cable running to the back of the cluster to feed everything. Each segment (right , center and left) are individual glass LCD plates with a polarizing film covering. They slide into the main board. If you are missing pixels it may be that that segment needs to be replaced. ...

Re: Digital dash issue
OK, so I pulled the dash last weekend and replaced the bulbs so far so good ..... put the dash back in and the panel with fuel/temp/pressure lights up great, but now the mileage side has gone dark. I'll pull it again soon to see if there is a bulb problem on that side now. Changed the color filters ...

Re: Torque Converter Lockout Operation
Thank you Ifixalot, I drive it daily so I may just bite the bullet and fix it.
I now have another vehicle to drive when the Beretta is down.

Torque Converter Lockout Operation
How hard is it to replace the Torque Converter Lockout solenoid? When I was under the Indy to change the trans fluid I found the wires to the solenoid were left unplugged. I re-connected it and tried to drive the car and immediately found out that its not releasing when stopped. Is there a real bene...

Re: Digital dash issue
Thanks Rettax3.
I read the instructions to change the color filters of the dash right here on Beretta.net.
The idea of all led is something to think about, and I agree these are really good looking dash clusters.

Re: Digital dash issue
YEA!!! It looks like it's just a bulb out. I shined a high intensity light across the dash at an angle to avoid glare and the gauges in the dark section ARE still functioning. I'll pull the cluster and replace all the bulbs and maybe change the color while I have it apart. Very relieved that it appe...
