Re: quad 4 automatic thottle box
Those are actually super rare to come by nowadays. I finally found a spare for myself after about 2 years. I'm not sure what you'd need this for though? Nothing in a Beretta requires this box, except for the Quad 4 engine w/ Cruise control (if you didn't have cruise, you didn't get this box at all)....

I will second Kimmit the Frog! But he has to drive his GTZ for a day each time he speaks in the committee group!

Re: Brand New Carpet for Beretta
I presume it's still packed up and shippable? Sounds like it's the darker "medium grey" that came in the 88-92 cars, and if so I might be interested in the carpet and the padding. Have any pics?

The rare Medium Maui Blue Metallic! Is this a 2.2 4 cylinder or the V6?

Re: Colorado peeps?
Is that the 91 Red car that's at 225/Cofax area? If so, that's not actually a GTZ - it's a 2.2 Base. Checked it out a week or so ago and the car was pretty rough, but would be savable if you wanted a project.

BerettaFest 2018 - Proposal for Colorado Springs, CO
http://www.tranzgenic.com/work/beretta/cos.jpg Colorado Springs, at an elevation of 6,035 ft., is a city in Colorado at the eastern foot of the Rocky Mountains. It lies near glacier-carved Pikes Peak, a landmark in Pike National Forest with hiking trails and a cog railway leading to its 14,114-ft. ...

I'd switch over to some Redline MTL trans fluid - it's always helped my shifting smoothness.

Re: 89 BERETTA GT 2.8 STALLS IN R OR D
I had a similar issue in my 89 GT. It was very intermittent for a very long time - would get a random miss/stumble at light throttle and then it would idle poorly and sometimes die when I took off. I tried random parts replacement but it didn't help. It finally got bad enough to set a code, which wa...

Julie,
I merged the new topic you started into this one, as they seem to be the same subject. Since this car has rust issues that need to be addressed, I'd recommend that you post some recent pictures of that if you want more interest in the car. Good luck with the sale!

Re: 89 GTU fuel pressure specs
I believe the 2.8 is rated at 40PSI @ the rail. When my pump went bad in my 92, the car would start and idle-ish but would die when you pushed on the gas. I was seeing about 9PSI at the rail when that was happening. I don't think the regulator needs to be leaking to be bad - I'd probably pull the in...
