Re: New here, but I have a 96 Z26
Will do. Thanks for all the info. I plan to get the 3400 heads, intakes, throttle body and I was gonna get the bolts from them anyway just in case one decides to retire its self in some way. I will do what I can to find a 2000 or newer also.

Re: New here, but I have a 96 Z26
Ok. My local salvage yard is having a " carry out all you can in one trip for $50" so I plan on picking up 3400 heads and intakes. Anything else I might need?

Re: Turbo questioN
Right. Mine is just the turbo. Will I need to buy any piping or anything to hook it up?

Yea they were junk. Only reason I did em was because the ones on it when I got it were throwing misfire codes and had rust on them

I got a 54 mm Garrett precision t3 turbo. What will I need to upgrade to handle it if it's even possible to mount and hook up?

Re: New here, but I have a 96 Z26
Will a 3400 intake fit also? I hear they "breath" better with these heads and intake because they are obviously bigger

Re: New here, but I have a 96 Z26
The CAI ends with the filter in front of the front drivers side tire in the wheel well. I plan on rebuilding it because it has that infamous knock they develop. Are the 3400 and 3100 motors interchangeable as far as top end?
