Good hooking spot for 1989 Corsica?

Post by BoxLiveFresh »

Going to try and get this thing on a dolley to tow to a shop. Replaced some things, but running out of time to get this thing back on the road as a third vehicle.

See thread:

I'm wondering if the car will have the power to get up onto the dolley all the way. I have a come-along and a chain, do you guys know a good safe spot on the front end to wrap the chain around, or hook on to?

I like to wrap the chain from underneath the car, and go over and around one of the subframe rails where it bolts to the lower radiator core-support. Very strong area of the car, and unlikely to hurt anything. It is a good spot to run the tow-dolley's safety chain too.
