87-90 and 94-96 stock. All years if you want to replace a plastic tank.

If you replace the plastic tank you need a new pickup and I don't think the plastic tank exhaust will fit passed this new style.

Correct, to replace the plastic tank and go metal you also need a sending unit and then you can reroute your exhaust under the metal tank and get rid of the saggy exhaust problem perpetrated by the plastic tank.

Why the hell would you remove a lifetime plastic tank to install a metal one?

And the exhaust sag? A simple hanger welded to the floor and a rubber O-Ring and that is taken care of.

GLWTS!!

Because the plastic ones tend to split. The one on my 90GT split on the top. You could smell gas and the back side was a little wet. By far not a good thing! The replacement cost me $450, which was very hard to find.

My car now has a Spectra radiator, which was made in Canada. SGR is this tank also made in Canada?

I guess owning a 70,000 mile, 25 year old California car does have its benefits.

MPB is correct, the plastic tanks have a high failure rate.
Yes MPB , this tank is also made in Canada.

You would at least need new straps if you're replacing 87-89. Possibly a sending unit as well. The digital sending unit is unique.

1990 has the plastic tank..

If swapping senders, you will run into line connection facepalms. Not the same across all years for QDC vs saginaw fittings.
