Corsica Hatchback CHEAP!!

Post by Barry »

I am selling a corsica hatchback for my friend. It is in decent shape, straight body, really clean interior. I think the dash is cracked, cant remember. No rocker rust. I didnt check rear spring perches.
Runs and drives. Exhaust is crack in front of cat so it is loud, and the motor is leaking oil from somewhere( I didnt look where)
Tires are all good.

Car needs work but is a great platform to restore or build. Its a 2.8 automatic. Miles are over 100k but I forget exactly.

Price, make offer. I am VERY reasonable. Dont be afraid to lowball me.

Call/text me at 267-638-85 1 4 if you want details, I know this posting is very vague. Or PM me

Car is in hatfield, PA 19440. Is currently inspected.

Car will not be around long...

Damn too bad your 5 hours away. I would pay 700 or 800 for it in no time haha. As long as it drives good and the oil leak isnt super terrible

I never knew they put the shifter there. I always thought they were all on the floor. What year is that?

If i had a day off i would do it haha. I havent had a day off since i got my old job back on Feb 28th.. I worked 100 hours that first week and i been working a steady 75-80 hours every week since lol. I do need a cheap backup just in case something happens that the Cobalt needs to go in the shop.. because im not driving the Z26 to work that wont happen. The search continues i suppose. I would really like to have an L-body for a backup car but who knows..

Good luck with the sale..

I can ask but thats a little low. I think 6-700 for this car is realistic. With a new cat and some gaskets this thing is a perfect DD or a clean shell to build a car from.

Not sure what scrap is back east, but it has gone done considerably from it's high in the last year or two. Scrap is actually lower again than normal. Most places out here are giving $100 to $200 for a complete car and usually only $200 if it runs.

Ok, so he said scrap plus a few hundered...

Few typically means about 3, and he said 600-700 so that would put it at about 300-400 in scrap value... and that doesn't sound that far off.

I was just pointing out scrap values. And here a "few" means two. Add two and two and you get four. Four is almost HALF 7.
