Dude don't take me wrong or anything but if you decide that you want to sell it for 1000-1500 then I will take it off your hands but I don't want to pay over 2K for something with that many miles, restored or not. Sorry man.. message me when you want to sell it cheaper.

with all do respect, no one's going to buy it at that price. I mean nobody. That's pristine shape beretta territory price and quite honestly yours doesn't fit that description. Granted you put some money into it, but these cars AREN'T investments and the sooner you understand that and realistically price your car for its condition, the faster it could sell. Otherwise continue bumping the thread to no avail.
Not meaning to insult you in any way, just my 2 cents. either way, GLWTS

Jaws, make one hell of a Craigs List ad and you should be able to get $2000 possibly. I would be more than willing to help with the ad as I have bought and sold something like 12 Berettas in the last 5 years.

I'm buying a rust free and well taken care of 88 GTU for the same price you are asking. A car with as must rust as yours, regardless of new parts, just isn't comparable. I know hind-sight is 2020, but maybe sticking all that money in replacement parts to get the car running should have been a red flag that the car wasn't worth it.

Its been like 3 months with many people telling you your price is just too high. Have you tried anything to improve the paint and sell it on CL?

You could part it out and get 2 grand.
I'll give some cash for the GTU wheel set.

Yeah, paint it with Styluss's method, I'm gonna do his method or similar for my LeMans.
If you paint it it'll sell fast, I imagine everyone is scared away from it due to its hideous paint. Hell, if it looks nice enough you might even be able to bump the price a lil bit if you detail it nice too.

I'd have to say the rust would be the main factor driving people away. I know if this were a car Styluss would flip, that would need to be addressed first.
