Re: 1996 Radio and A Couple Other Items.
This is what I have for 5 speed parts. The shift plate on the left is faded and has a crack in the upper left corner of the shifter opening and the one on the right has a strange hole cut out of it. I also have a pair of the boot retainer rings and a pair of rubber boots, also 1 stock knob. I can grab the console lid part you need from the yard down the road whenever.

just to chime in.....no hijack intended(may need to make another thread)
if you want to do mp3's etc why not just build a multimedia center
a cheap android tablet, a homemade or store bought mount, and a fm transmitter

there is also a thread around here that list other slightly newer radios from other cars that may work with a little wiring know how

I'll take the plate with the hole in it, as the other one looks fragile (correct me if it's not), and whatever retainer ring seems more solid.
As for the radio I've given up. I've had this car for five years, AM/FM served me fine as I rarely listen to the radio while driving. Sometimes I just get the urge to listen to CDs. Prefer the stock look though. Money was better spent on a pair of Euro headlights.

I have the original stereo/cassette play from my 95 Z26. As soon as I bought the car I pulled the factory until out and installed my pioneer din 1/2 unit so the stock unti has about 32,000 miles on it. Make me an offer if you're interested in it. It's been stored in a box in the attic which is nice and dry.
In regards to the shifter plate with the hole in it, well isn't that the area where the truck popper goes? I know I had to cut the hole out of my shift plate to install my popper button. There are actually indents on the backside where you would think the button goes but they don't line up with what needs cut to make it look square like factory. I'd guess somebody tried to cut the hole out using the indents which are wrong, realized this too late and couldn't save it.

Are you still interested in selling those parts? If you are really busy you don't need to worry about going and getting the part for the console lid.
