Updated the spreadsheet again for Jon's new record set on day 5 of Drag Week 2023! Jon, can you give us a rundown of your specific engine build so I can get it right and we all can admire this epic build?

The current build info, the whole list.

It’s a 3400 V6 engine from a 2005 Monte Carlo, work done to the engine is fully balanced, blue printed assembly, Diamond forged pistons 10.5:1CR, hard anodized & Skirt coated, SCAT forged H-Beam rods, Nitrided Crankshaft, ARP main studs, 3500 ported heads from Larrys Auto Machine, lower intake from WOT-Tech, ARP Head studs, PAC 1218 springs, SI Stainless steel valves, TCE Double roller timing chain, TCE 65mm throttle body, WOT-Tech/Comp Cam, 230/230@.050 .577/.577 Lift, 109 ICL 112 LSA. Custom S&S type headers. 150hp Direct Port NOS System with NX Fuel SAFE system. Machine work performed by Larry's Auto Machine. Transmission is a 4t60e-HD, All sonnax VB updates applied, 3rd gear Raybestos Z-Pak, Alto 2nd gear powerpack, Triple Edge performance input stack/w Raybestos stage 1 clutches. Sonnax 3rd billet apply piston. 33/37 Sprocket internal drive ratio, 3.29 GM Performance Torsen HD Differential. Derale stacked plate cooler/w fan, ZZP aluminum finned trans pan. East Coast Converters reinforced 2375 stall converter. CV Source, Atlanta GA Hybrid axles, Pontiac Bonneville inner/Beretta Bar/Grand Am Outer. Chassis is 2000’s J-body Koni front strut inserts, 00 Grand am front knuckles and Bearings, Camaro Wilwood Dynapro Radial Front Drag brake kit/w Mitsubishi Eclipse rotor hats. Canuck Motorsports Lowering springs. Ford Thunderbird rear Koni adjustable shocks, Dodge neon rear disc brake bracket, calipers, and rotors. Addco Beretta front and rear swaybars. Full interior, stereo, power windows, A/C, cruise control.

Eek. haha. Finally got numbers on the LS swap and it's slower than the v6! But I'm pretty sure I can beat it next weekend.

Guess I'm leaving this engine in it until next year. I got it to out-trap my old 3400, but couldn't beat the ET. My cheap shocks aren't controlling the rear axle well enough, so my 60's are junk. I already have a fix for that figured out though. And I also have a bunch more power waiting once I decide to put the new engine in. haha
