The 3500 is going back to work 13.40's Folks!!

Post by Asylum »

If I can find Rodney to retro the O2 wiring, the 3500 will be back in service come this weekend.

Barbie will be driving, but it's about bloody time this thing got back to the track. (It hasn't moved or run since last September except to move it 3 miles.)

And no one seems to want to buy it!

13.57 is the bar. She'll probaly kill that at Cayuga (Toronto Motorsports Park) with good traction and a real timing system.

And it's my Birthday Sunday!!!

This is good news!
Did I have the want? Yes
Did I have the money? No
Did I want to see you somehow keep it? Hell yes!
I feel better now that it's still with the two of you. Happy birthday!

I actually started it today and it sounds just fine.

It has the O2 senor/wideband disconnected and is running rich as crap!

I have no idea of what Rodney did with the O2 wiring, but I'll get him to figure it out.

That and a small coolant issue on the thermostat by-pass and it's ready to go after a really good bath.

I'm guessing a 13.40 with Barbie beating on it is in order.

Haven't got to the track as yet.
Just been too busy with other things and the medical treatments.
Barbie is gung ho to get at it, and I suspect the CSCS Event August 21st may be the date.
That and perhaps a couple of Test and Tune evenings before that to get her some seat time.
I'll post what happens.

And YES it's still For Sale!!

Barbie has driven it a couple of times already. There may be some pics somewhere of last years NE, but she was leaving it in Drive as the shift light was acting up. Best she went was a 14.13 or something that day with it shifting at about 6000, if that.

She ran 13.57 on an almost perfect evening last summer shifting at 6600. At 6800 and if it hooks up, there is probably a little more.

Still looking to sell it? Not that I have the cash myself at the moment, but was curious.
