I got caught broke down in the beretta during a test drive the other day ...I had been fighting issues with the brakes locking up and couldn't figure out why.

Well..... The problem was the the connecting rod from the booster to the pedal. It's a fixed length rod but something changed throughout the build and the distance between where the booster sits on the fire wall and where the padal assembly lives (where the booster rod attaches to the brakes pedal) got shorter. This was putting the slightest bit of pressure on the brakes while driving (basically applying the brakes the entire time) causing the system to heat and expand causing the brakes to lock...... I shimmed the booster forward 1/4 of an inch and test drove the car a few miles and it seems fine. Lots more testing to come

First day of testing in the beretta did not go as planned.

Had a major fuel leak which had to be attended to ...pulled off track....basically causing me to get distracted and forgot to latch the hood ...

The hood and windshield is destroyed......

Feeling defeated. But I gotta stay positive.....re group ...and get back out there

Well unfortunately a routine check of the rear wheel adaptors led me to find the welded differential had opened. re welded the gears and carrier flushed the fluid and ready for another 2 day event at Midvale Speedway

Loaded and ready to hit the road for #clubloose2 @ midvale speedway.

The car really needed some attention. New seats and harnesses. New windshield. Broken rear diff. 1/4 inch of play in the front pass side wheel bearing. Broken front suspension limiter chain. Got it all fixed!!!!!

Lets hope the Beretta Z28 is ready to rip tomorrow

Z28 Beretta getting down at Midvale Speedway with #clubloose2. The car was feeling super predictable and I was definitely getting comfortable and confident as the day progressed.
