Well I cleaned the GTZ today and washed the carpet, back seat and front seats... looks much better.

I still need to shampoo some more when I replace the speakers that are in the car now you will see dirt around the kickpanels that I couldn't get out at the moment...

Enjoy the pictures

This is before any cleaning... just taking the seats out...

Notice the center console is out... Diirrrty

The goodies

Mmmm Shampoo

Vacuumed but still very wet...

I had to work at the skateshop at 4 so I just slaped a seat in an drove to work with just the seat and the shifter knob put back on...

Ok I didn't take pictures of me washing the seats or anything because my hands were wet the garage was cold and it was past 12 and I wanted a beer so I was getting things done... but here are some pics after the armor all and all the seats/door panel fabric after being bathed...

Hmmmm I took a picture of a door panel besides the GTZ logo picture to show the dirt I got off of it but it never showed on the memory card... hmmmmmm

***???

Disregaurd how DIRTY my car is on the outside... I was only doing the interior today... externally my car represents about 1500 miles since the last car wash and 700 of those miles included driving on HEAVY traveled roads in teh rain we had for about 2 weeks straight here...

And finally... to wrap my night up...

Looks good!, all you need are some replacement pads for the clutch and brake pedals.

Hmmm, I always thought "Old English" was furniture polish.

Nice job.
You might want to try some spray nine on all of those brown stains it should get them out easily.
Want brand of carpet shampoo did you use?

I actually didn't use carpet shampoo I used armorall car wash haha.  I didn't have any money and the car wash smells really good.  I will be doing a more detailed cleaning of the carpet but I really wanted to get some of the really skanky smell out that I got when I had a leak... I dont think the leak is coming from the firewall.. it is totally dry behind the break/clutch/gas pedals... I guess I have to look for a spot underneath the car where it seeps in while driving... I heard that the welds in the unibody can split and it can find its way through there.

I thought so, I shampoo my carpet in my Corolla at least once ever 2-3 weeks and have experimented with a lot of products and I'd never seen one *that* soapy, especially after being scrubbed in.

What kind of brush did you use to shampoo it... i used a hard plastic bristle brush used to clean tires... I Think I will go at it with the spray 9 next time around.

I want to get this car looking better than it did from GM so i have a lot of hours ahead of me...

It will be completely stock looking except for maybe Eibachs to drop it a little bit.  The exterior needs some work.  and I would like to know where to get the rubber trim that goes around the doors becuase mine is falling down where the roof meets the windshield...

I am just picking a part of the car to detail until It is perfect...

You need to rent a Rinse-N-Vac.  Works wonders..  Or just take the carpet to the car wash and power wash it.

I can see where you seats were yellowing from the dirt.

I use both. When I havn't done it in a while I use the harder bristle plastic brush as it picks up little things a lot better. Most of the time I just use a softer bristle brush though as I find it spreads the shampoo better...
