I found my Fam-i-ly!

Post by LilFaif »

Hi, my name is LilFaif, and I'm a Berettaholic.

Most all of you probably know my Dad as DUBS28. My dad got me interested in Berettas when I was really little. When I went to BerettaFest 2013 is when I really knew I wanted to own a Beretta of my own someday. My Dad got me a '91 GTZ for when I get my license. I enjoy working on it and keeping it clean and plan to have it for a very long time.

Welcome aboard Faith! It's pretty awesome that GW worked that out so you could come to Denver and see what it's all about.

I hoard parts for some reason. Made a promise that the two Beretta's I have will be my last.

Yes, we already have enough parts to build another Beretta, or so my Mom thinks. But we always need more! I love going to the junk yard with my dad. Only 4 more months and I won't have to lie about my age to get in, lol.

I hate those ones. I always tell them if you let me look at the car I'll probably buy a lot more off of it. Nope, sorry we can't do that. Their loss I guess but our loss too.

My mom's first new car was a 88 Beretta 4 cycl 5 speed. I first Learned to drive in that car. 'My' first Beretta was a used beat up 89 GTU. Didn't live long (previous owner/s abused her badly) but I had to have her since I couldn't find one anywhere else. NOW, "in my area" you can not find a single beretta in any of the junkyards to try to pull parts off of if needed. I am thinking of rejoining the club though, look to get a GTZ (a late friend of mine had one), not to tune and run which would be well worth it in my book but to just have, to drive, and cruise around in. Sad to say that Pontiac's GTA won over my foolish heart more back in the day, got rid of the GTU for a GTA. 8)
