Beretta Internet Archeology

So as the oldest Berettas outdate what we know as internet today, I've been curious what's there to find from pre-2000 web about these cars.

Many, Many sites and webforums are lost forever, but there are still some things to find.

There has at least been at least one Beretta webring https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webring
that linked early Beretta related websites together. Can be seen on this old, but still functional site:
https://sithberetta.tripod.com/ :D

Also I found Beretta.net member #19 site still online https://fastazzberetta.tripod.com/

Some of these old sites from Geocities and Tripod are still reachable or achieved to internet archives, but many are partially readable because of lost bits of graphics or usage of legacy solutions that wont render anymore on modern web browsers :( But I figured out some links on these sites can be opened to new tab or copying the direct url.

Here is one with pictures of the early modified Berettas https://geocities.restorativland.org/Mo ... tory/8110/

Another horrible to read site, that still works
http://www.geocities.ws/s_benningfield/mylow.htm

You can find these sites from Google with little bit of tinkering, like using site:geocities.restorativland.org

Also there has been a Yahoo discussion group, but I cant find any archived version for that. Anyone else? I know there was some valuable information there, like posts from the designers of Beretta.

There are 196 partial captures of old bstuff.com discussion forum that I think was the most popular one.
Here's a direct link to one: https://web.archive.org/web/20070118182 ... stuff.com/

And this forum you currently reading is a living fossil too, Glad it's still up. :good:

Feel free to post your findings.

 Fantastic post, Weba. Thank you for breaking out the shovel for us, and yes, for making some of us feel as old as the stuff shovels are meant for. Always glad to see you around the site. :friends:
