BerettaFest 2022 Proposal - Flagstaff, AZ

Post by lmnjlo »

Sure, you have been to green pastures and flat countryside’s, you have even looked up to past Presidents and an amazing tower that the Devil seemed to have placed. Now it’s time to look down! Welcome to the American Southwest! The gateway to the Grand Canyon, Route 66, Meteor Crater. I’m talking about Flagstaff, Arizona!
Flagstaff attracts outdoor enthusiasts year-round with its spacious vistas and cool, clean mountain air. At an elevation of 7,000 feet (2,135 m), in the midst of the world’s largest ponderosa pine forest, Flagstaff is a hub of activity where an electric mix of small-town charm and endless outdoor adventure beckons. With tons of outdoor activities, we will be able to visit places where the sky has fallen, the ground has been carved out by water, lava has flowed, and Indians had settled.
History buffs will delight in the Route 66 nostalgia and the museums and attractions dedicated to Flagstaff’s Native American culture and old west legacy. Those who like to hit the town will have a hard time choosing between all of the locally-owned shops, restaurants, and galleries in historic downtown. Flagstaff isn’t just a pit stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. Nor is it a tourist trap — the food scene and dedication to local ingredients has exploded over the past few years, making it worthy of a day trip, or better yet, a full-fledged food vacation. Don’t forget to check out Lowell Observatory where Pluto was discovered!
Come to Flagstaff and check off items on your bucket list that will leave you in awe for life! Just watch where you are walking, it’s a steep drop!
