Tires and rims

Post by zach82 »

I suddenly have the mental image of a Red and Yellow Honda with lots of vinyl flames, about 6 dozen stickers... including a big "NOS" across the windshield, a Folgers muffler, stock engine, and a 17.5 ET.

The stock size for Ritta, ( 88GT ) is 205-60R15.........I like the somewhat lower ride the 14's give me...............

Rubs? on what?...I can even get 245's in there...the only problem is because I was a donce (donce cap on)...I had ordered the rims and then never even checked the offset (by simply putting the darn thing on the car...doh)...I went straight to have them powder coated...after putting the brembos on the thing just wouldn't cut it...I had to make a 10.5mm spacer so I am right there just WILLITLE close to the edge...

Hey man, can you get more pictures of your car? I want to see your car in all its glory. From the side, wheels the wheels, the brakes, yadda yadda yadda. I've seen the brakes and coilovers, but I want to see the whole car, including the interior.

DITTO!

I didn't know that you could fit 245 on there.  I thought that the max you could have gone was with 235....Oh well.  Yeah, like Steve said, MORE PICS MORE PICS MORE PICS

Yep... and I really don't like them.  Just so guady...

I'm into the ultra plain, non-flashy, sleeper look...  I like it to look like a granny car, but to be fast enough to blow the doors off of whatever's gonna mess with you

M3's and Audi's gaudy?
I guess everyone has their opinion, and mine is that I like the look of aftermarket wheels compared to stock or hubcaps, and I'm the type of guy that doesn't need to prove something at every stoplight, rather just want a nice looking car...

Zach you like nonflashy granny cars? WTF. Then why do you even have a Beretta. You should go out and buy a Sable.

I have a Beretta because it was something that wasn't a pile of crap that I could afford back when I was 17.

Plus, when you think about it, not too many people expect a Beretta to be even moderately quick... I've suprised quite a few people.

And as far as proving something at every stoplight... I can probably count the number of street races I've been in on my hands.  I keep my racing at the drag strip most of the time

I also realize that everyone likes different stuff... if we all did the same crap, the world would get boring very quickly.

I do plan on having a different set of wheels and tires by next summer, they're just not gonna be bling bling rims...  my plans are to get the Borbet Bs in 14X6.  I'm gonna slap a set of 215/60 drag radials on the front and keep the 205/70 radial T/As on the back.

By then my intake/TB will be finished and hopefully I'll have it on as well... I'm wanting to be running right around 15 flat by next BFest.
