Welded some nuts on the frame to make bumper installation easier. Was really tough with the dropped rad support.

Got the final ride height totally mocked up. Put a 1.25 block in the back due to lack of weight at the moment. Lowest ground clearance anywhere is 4.5" - 5". I'm hoping that will be enough to keep me out of trouble. I'm loving the stance. This is the first time I've really gotten a look at the 5th-gen markers with the front end assembled too.

I'm obviously be sarcastic because the abundance of stupidly modded "stanced" vehicles is not isolated to VW's and VW owners.

I agree, mostly in my area it seems to be vw's that are stupidly lowered. The pot holes in Nova Scotia are the worst I have ever seen, so the new trend seems to be switching to air ride.

That may be "stance" according to dipshits, but in the muscle car/pro touring group stance doesn't mean such gayness. haha

After a little inner fender surgery, the tires clear on the bump stops when straight. Obviously they don't clear at steering lock, but I don't know how you would bottom the car out completely at steering lock... Couple pics here show how much room I added by rolling the lip and slightly tweaking it out in relation to the stock inner fender. Still have to finish closing it in, and adding a rail to the outer so the inner can bolt to it. It might be a little ugly, but isn't visible. Haven't decided if I will weld that part, or maybe use the 3M panel bond to keep from warping anything.

Also installed my Aerocatch hood pins and a removable tow hook to keep from wrecking the front air dam.

I finished up the pass inner fender and made the rail for the outer so they can bolt together, just need to panel bond it.

Boner, the Anvil inners give you extra clearance to the inside, but not the outside...they still bolt to the stock lip. It only works with an aftermarket subframe like DSE...won't work for me. And I like the extra track width my car will have with the tire closer to the fender. Not to mention it saves me like $8000 to keep the stock subframe and inners. haha
