It's really sweet with no doors!

I also tried it out with no rear hatch, and it's pretty cool...but the hatch is basically impossible to reinstall on your own, and even with two people it kinda sucks. So I guess that will be really rare. haha. But I've already pulled the doors off like 5 times. That's really easy with the hitch pins I used, and the mirrors install like nothing with the nuts I welded on. Takes about 2 minutes to swap doors for mirrors.

Climbed on the trailer (barely) with no ramps, and screwed around on the mountain and through the pond with no doors. Scouted out a spot for fall family photos with the little one and even caught it on fire! haha

 ...And you call me swapping serpentine-belt tensioners on the roadside 'an adventure'? In comparison, I would have to call my minor roadside makeshift repair a yawn-fest! I feel you almost need to get the motorcyclist's reminder to 'keep the shiny-side up'! :friends:

I've only almost rolled it once.

Just finished editing the fire video. Funny stuff.

Fire video is up now on my channel. Working on editing the offroad meet we went to this weekend. The little beast did really well on the "35in tire" trails with its 31s and a little more #send it.

This underpowered POS is the first vehicle I've done a wheelie with!

1-ton axles and 37" tires for the Blazer? Yeah, why not? IFS delete and solid axle swap.

Nobody uses this website any more I guess...but here's a fun video drowning the Blazer. It ended up getting the ignition wet and running terrible. Also killed the blower motor. But I got it running again with a new coil and ICM. It aint dead yet!

Not regularly anyway. I recall the days when this was a daily stop-by, so much 'missed' if you didn't check in to see all the goings-on. Now? More like a still photograph from the 1800's -where is the selenium to preserve this?
Still about the best automotive-enthusiast site on the web though.

You really can't beat forums for finding information.

Blazer rust is getting pretty bad. Every time I fix anything on it 2 more things break. Honestly the blazer rust has been really bad from the start...and beating on it hasn't helped. haha
But I patched it up enough to run Gambler 500 Frozen Nutz in a couple weeks. See how long it lasts. haha

Finally had a chance to put together a video from the "expert trails" at the offroad park tagging along with some Jeeps. Trails recommended for 35+ tires with 31s means you gotta have some more throttle, more send and more ain't care. Sometimes that still aint enough and you gotta get pulled out.

Tried jumping the work snowbank with the Blazer like I did with my old Z71...similar results! haha. Got some air time! But it busted apart the grille and broke a rusty power steering cooler line. One self tapper and a couple hose clamps and it was ready for more action though. Tried to take it up the mountain at my dad's and it's just not great in snow. Really needs a welded front diff. Third gear was working ok until the SES came on. Turd city. I'll keep pounding on it until it won't go any more. Then it'll get the 5.3 and f350 axles I have waiting for it. Also have a lead on a local nv4500 and floor shift transfer case out of a 2500 dodge. Gonna be a beast!
